For the 24th épisode, I have the pleasure of having Juraj @textilestudiojs at my microphone. His background and talent impresses me, and through our discussion, I hope to introduce you to a job in the fashion industry that I feel is less well known. The job is textile designer. Juraj work today as a freelancer. He is based in Antwerp, but he was born in Slovakia, and then he worked for 10 years in France in Lyon, where he worked for seven years at Buko in one of the last silk factories. Then he spent three years at Schiaparelli in Paris before being recruited by Dries Van Noten for his dream job. After four years as head of men's and women's print at Dries Van Noten, Juraj, didn't want to fall into routine and decided to take the leap.
